Keyword Cannibalization


Keyword cannibalization occurs when ranks for the same keyword or very similar ones are held by at least two pages belonging to the same site. This can then confuse search engines on which page they should rank in results for that query, weakening your SEO efforts. Instead, consolidate the content or have a different set of keywords so that each of those pages has a single and unique area to rank with the best result.


Indexing


Indexing is the process by which a search engine crawls web pages and looks them through to store them in its database. If a search engine indexes a page, that literally means this page will turn up in its results for some queries. Proper indexing is what makes your content discoverable and ranked by search engines. You can use tools like Google Search Console to see the indexing status of your site and even track which pages are indexed and where there are problems in indexing.


Crawling


It is the process that search engines use to actually find and gather pages on the Web. Spiders or bots belonging to a search engine move from website to website following hyperlinks from one webpage to the next. SEO crawling is basically the first step to all of this, which allows search engines to learn what your website is about and how it's structured. Helping a search engine crawl smoothly means to make it more friendly by structuring your site better, using internal linking properly, and building sitemaps that will help crawlers get around.


Caching


Caching involves storing a version of your webpage on the user's browser or on a server to reduce load times and improve the user experience. Once a page has been cached, there will be no need to reload it from scratch every time a user visits, reducing loading time and server load. Effective caching strategies may include browser caching, server-side caching, and content delivery networks. Proper caching of all the above-mentioned elements can highly improve page speed and performance. A faster page is as important to users as it is for search engine ranking.


Domain Authority


It's a metric scaled from 1 to 100, developed by Moz, which estimates what a website domain is strong and credible. DA is determined by a few factors, such as backlinks, domain age, and general SEO health. The higher the domain authority, the better one's ranking power can be in search results. Building domain authority is done through the acquisition of high-quality backlinks, creation of useful content, and technical soundness of a website.
